FIFTH ANNUAL SAN DIEGO BAY WINE & FOOD FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES CHRISTOPHER M. AS “FEATURED ARTIST”
San Diego, CA (May 22, 2008) – The producers of the San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival (November 12-16, 2008) announced today the selection of California native Christopher M. as this year’s “Featured Artist.” Christopher M.’s expressive, realist paintings, which combine old-fashioned aesthetic values with contemporary influences, will be on display for all to see at this year’s Festival. “The art world has come to appreciate the unique beauty and skills of Christopher M.’s work,” said Michelle Metter the Festival’s co-producer. “His ability to capture culinary experiences from a wide variety of perspectives makes him a natural choice to work with in the creation of this year’s festival artwork.” Christopher M.’s appeal has grown throughout the United States and now internationally due to the unique splendor and vivid imagery of his paintings. Recently featured in Art World News, Christopher M. is creating a name for himself as one of the skilled artists of our time. His culinary series of artwork beautifully shows his appreciation of a job well done and creativity within any art form, including culinary excellence. The featured piece created for this year’s San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival titled “The Perfect Pair” depicts chef and master sommelier engaged in the art of the food and wine pairing. A perfect illustration of the enjoyment of wine and food, this art piece will be the cornerstone and theme of the Festival this year. An exhibit featuring a selection of Christopher M.’s oil paintings will be on display at the San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival at the Grand Event on Saturday, November 15, 2008. Christopher will be present Saturday to personally sign copies of this year’s Festival poster, which features his artwork.
